The Annual Open House and Greens Show at the Mynderse-Fredrick House at 451 Main Street, Route 146 West in Guilderland Center is scheduled for Friday, December 1 from 4-8 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, December 2 and 3 from 1 – 5 PM. The theme this year is “The Sounds of the Season.” Visitors to this free event will enjoy homemade refreshments, musical entertainment and a visit from Santa Claus as follows:
Friday, December 1
4 – 5:30 PM Nancy Edmonds, Piano
6 – 8 PM Nina Zanetti, Dulcimer
Saturday, December 2
1 – 2 PM Visit with Santa Claus
3 – 5 PM Tom Thorpe, Guitar
Sunday, December 3
1 – 2 PM Suburban Sounds
John Overbeck will be present throughout the event to play the Clarinet and Donna Crego will be wearing a replica of the original bridal gown worn by Apolonia Frederick.
The house will be decorated with ornaments, wreaths and arrangements made by Garden Club members. Nonperishable donations will be collected for the Regional Food Bank. A portion of the proceeds will benefit a local organization. Members of the Historical Society will be present to provide information on the history of the House.
